Inspired By Research
Rush Rhees set with salivary gland cells in the night sky. Inspired by research at the Ovitt Lab in the Center for Oral Biology at University of Rochester Medical Center I chose to introduce the art I see in lab to my paintings.
DAPI marks nuclear matter in blue. Aquaporin 3 marks acinar cells in red. Ki67 marks mitotically active cells in green.
